Hello,

I am considering a move to Boston following an opportunity at a company in Bedford. We are a family of 3 (parents and 2 year old boy) and looking for a 2 BR apt/condo around Bedford. I looked at the rent at Bedford, Concord etc, and are really pricy. My range is 1700-1900/month and would like to get place in a safe neighborhood. Also, my spouse is looking for jobs in Boston (in IT filed). So I want a place that offers a fair commute to Bedford and Boston (20-30 miles is ok). We have one car now.

I haven't received the offer yet, but I will get the offer soon. Since we have a toddler, daycare also is a concern. Please let me know your suggestions for me.

THANK YOU

I would chose Reading since it has great public transportation into Boston, and it is also easy ride to Bedford. It is well to do community with nice downtown area, safe. and very family oriented. Another is Wakefield, which is right next door to reading and would offer similar amenities, although IMHO Reading has an edge these days, it is more sought after.

Good luck!
