I wil be staying in danvers in early sept and want to drive to mbta station where i could leave car and take train into boston. which station would be best? i want to ideally park on the street and not in a lot for cost savings thank you

Salem or Beverly are the closest commuter rail stations to Danvers but you will not find free on street parking.

North Beverly stop would probably make the most sense and I think the cost of parking is just $4 for the day.

The cost of parking ($4) is a bargain compared to the actual train fare which is around $15 round trip depending on which station you board at.
