I simply stated a mild surprise that four locales were not on a list, which is not even close to your hyperbole. I follow the Lowell Sun and those four places are noted in news articles about drugs at a higher frequency than other area towns, aside from Lowell and Lawrence.

Why do you get so defensive of the Merrimack Valley?

Falmouth is a nice resort style town and the others are nice burbs of Boston. I expected ghetto places like Brockton, Haverhill, Lowell but not those.
I live on Cape. Falmouth had 7 OD's in one weekend in early April. The Falmouth Hospitalmjust remodeled and has 4 ER rooms specifically for OD's. There are well publicized and frequent problems particularly in East Falmouth.

A full statewide ranking of all 351 cities and towns would be interesting to see.

I'm not but you seem to have a hate for the Merrimack Valley, particularly Billerica, anytime there is a thread about Billerica you make some strident remarks.
Also many Tewksbury/Billerica stories ate due to transport/ dealing due to their convenient locations between rt 3, 495 and 93

I have never expressed a blanket opinion of hate for the Merrimack Valley. There are plenty of locations in the valley which I hold in positive regard. To make the claim that I hate the entire Merrimack Valley over criticisms I have made about one town in particular is the height of absurdity.

Everyone has places they like and places they dislike and if you have an issue with me sharing my opinion on any particular town it is your problem not mine. I don't share negativity unless I have personal experiences to back it up.

I brought this up on another thread, people didn't seem to believe me. Cape has a big problem.

Not sure why there's any surprise at Ipswich's appearing on the list. It's always had its literal wrong side of the tracks. But no one notices on their way to Appleton Farms or Crane's Beach, the "explorer" bus on its runs to Essex and back doesn't pass through, and the Chamber of Commerce obviously isn't going to play it up.

Gloucester and Ipswich have had dope problems for years. Fishing towns provide an excellent ports of entry. Just like Fall River and New Bedford.

I'm not surprised at Gloucester but Ipswich seemed more upscale. I guess not.
