Under $500K ...you're looking 2 bed room Max unfortunately...If that is not a problem Braintree has great school system.
Up and Coming area with direct access by our fantastic MBTA system.
The majority of areas close enough to the city will run you over that $500K mark.

This just isn't true. I live in a three bedroom house in Hingham that cost just north of $500,000. Are those houses a dime a dozen? No. But they're there.

You can narrow down your search pretty quickly. Realtor and Zillow are great resources and if you connect with an agent regardless of where they are they can hook you up with a custom list that is delivered via email to you to allow you to access it before it hits the general public.

Have you checked mansfield, canton, Stoughton, & foxboro on the south shore?

That's really unnecessary. Yes, she said that but let's just let it go.

Melissa is brand new to the site. I'm sure she'll learn a lot from being an active member here. I know I always am picking up knowledge from this site.

This is weird. Has this become a fishing site for real estate people?

An agent who posts in one of the Florida forums posted on several RE agent Facebook groups directions for prospecting for clients on City-Data. Her own Facebook group that she runs has 3500 members. One of the other groups she posted the directions in has 18K members and another has nearly 30K members and she posted the directions in several other groups as well. So a lot of new real estate agents have created accounts here. It's not just in the MA forum.

None of those towns are considered to be on the South Shore. How do we give demerits to commentators that are clearly trolling?

This comment was laughing at a previous post. There are realtors on here blindly recommending towns in their coverage area irrespective of OP request. If you looked at my previous posts I said the same thing a few days ago.

There are two possibly conflicting interests on this board. Prospective buyers seeking info on towns (that's how I signed up) and "helpful" realtors seeking prospective clients. Don't get me wrong, plenty of Realtors on here add tremendous value to the conversation. Just take caution with individual advice. Usually the consensus view hits the mark on here.
