I am considering purchasing a home in Raynham and would like to put a small barn, riding ring, and turn-out for horses. Does anyone have any experience with conservation commission approvals?
The property has a significant amount of acreage, but some is wetlands. I was curious as to how easy it is to get approval to build structures within the 100 foot buffer zone around wetlands.
You can read the ConComm minutes online here: Town of Raynham, MA - Conservation Committee Minutes. This may help you to gauge the circumstances that lead to approval and what restrictions the committee applies to approvals. Good luck!
Make sure any purchase and sales agreement that you sign is subject to obtaining all permits.
