2000 SF is considered a starter home? I've never owned that much space in my life, and I'm in my 40s.

Would be fine for a family of 3-4 easily, IMO. But standards are so very out of whack these days, IMO. We never had 2 full baths growing up, sounds luxurious.

#39 out of 395 on this list.

MCAS scores are in the 89th percentile

In what world is any of that "average"???

Now on demographics:

MHI Berlin $96,568, State $77,385.

Poverty rate Berlin 3.9%, State 9.3%

Not sure we are even talking about the same town here.

Sorry that you're feeling old, but hey welcome to the Boston of 2020! And ultimately, in the current RE market, that's what matters, not the old one with dirty water, a Combat Zone, elevated rail along Washington or an industrial-feeling seaport. I hear lots of stories about the terrors of getting stabbed on Mass Ave back in the day, but now it's $1,000/square foot condos and trendy hipster restaurants. That all feels more like Arlington than the sleepy far-away world of a Milton.
Well if the "new" Boston/Cambridge = Seaport/Kendall, then good riddance. You can keep it! If I return, I guess I'll have to hunker down in the "sleepy far-away world of a Milton".

I'm not saying 2000SF isn't a lot, I find it to be huge. My house is that size and we fit 30 people comfortably for parties. We have 4 bed/3.5 bath and yes it's quite luxurious, we don't even use one bedroom and one full bath yet.

All I'm saying is that house looks small inside for 2000SF compared to others that size. Don't think it could handle a party for 30 people.

Fair enough, some of that is room configuration, and the camera angles and fish eye lenses and what not used for real estate photos makes things tough to gauge at times. Often on purpose.

How about this one. Sold in December 2018, was put on the market again in June (due to "Job Transfer"), and is still on the market now. That's going to be one expensive job transfer.

Edit: Oh I see why it's not selling (besides 600+ that far out)... it's too close to the Southborough Pike exit.
Checking up on this, it still hasn't sold. They tried the delist/relist gag at the beginning of the month so you know they are panicking. At this rate it might end up in foreclosure.

LoL price changed from $665,999 10/12 to $664,000 11/1. These negligible price changes push buyers away. They tried to make quick 60k in 15 months, so greedy. Should have listed it at like 600k back in July.

Not greedy, trying to sell the place without losing money. Selling at 600k would be like a 100k loss basically.

Fed just cut rates to zero. Can't say if this will really lead to lower mortgage rates but it just shows how dire the economy situation is right now. Anyone selling right now is going to be in for a world of hurt.
