What did he say that wasn’t true? BTW..What happened to freedom of speech...I guess we’re living in 1984!

A Massachusetts city council is moving to censure a member after he called Black Lives Matter a “terrorist organization” and said the coronavirus pandemic — which has killed more than 146,000 Americans and 8,000 Bay Staters — was “minuscule” and “overblown.”

The North Adams City Council on Tuesday is bringing forward a resolution to censure Councilor Robert Moulton following his comments last week about Black Lives Matter, the coronavirus and other city issues.

“It seems like that’s this month’s flavor. It’s a terrorist organization,” Moulton said of Black Lives Matter on the local public access television program “Let’s Talk About It.” “They want to get rid of the family.”

Moulton also called supporters of Black Lives Matter “moronic.”

Anyone who after 150,000 deaths & climbing, calls the coronavirus "minuscule and overblown", should not be in a decision-making government capacity.

Free speech = ability to say idiotic things like "Black Lives Matter a “terrorist organization” and said the coronavirus pandemic — which has killed more than 146,000 Americans and 8,000 Bay Staters — was “minuscule” and “overblown.”

Free speech is also censuring said idiot for saying it.

Why do you want to remove the City Council's freedom of speech?

Freedom of speech does not mean freedom from consequences. Sometimes, enacting those consequences means an opposing party using their freedom of speech.

Have you listened to BLM leaders or read their manifesto and mission statement on their “Own” website! If So again what did the city counselor say that wasn’t true.

As an affluent white collar professional, I just want people to get educated to break the cycle of generational poverty. That’s unfortunately as unlikely as educating people that Fox News, right wing Facebook, and Howie Carr is rich people getting you to vote against your self-interest.

The New Boston Post just posted the entire interview with Moulton word for word, sounds like he was misquoted somewhat.
