Okay, as I mentiond, I think Joe Mathieu on 89.7 fm on morning drive says MassachuZetts. I'm asleep at that hour, but somebody listening then may wish to double check his pronunciation. As I said, when he was on WBZ radio, that's when I noticed the Z several times.

I'm not a native, and say "Massa-chu-sitts", and "Quinn-zee". A guy at work who is a native of Topfield definitely says "Massa-chu-zitts, and "Quinn-zee"

Well, where did he come from before that? I have two friends who both come from Topsfield and it's S, not Z. Lived in MA my entire life, born and raised, so were my parents and all my family. No one says it with a Z.
