How I know this virus is an overblown hysteria. Even our fearless leaders don’t believe it just by their own personal actions!

Walsh is facing some criticism after the photo surfaced online, especially since he has been advocating for Boston residents and others to wear masks while in public for months.

Unlike our President, the Mayor doesn't criticize people for wearing masks, nor does he demand that they remove them, and he doesn't claim that masks are harmful. He may have screwed up and not worn a mask on that occasion, but that in no way would prove that the "virus is an overblown hysteria". In fact, even if the Mayor never wore a mask, that wouldn't prove it to be overblown hysteria, any more than Donald Trump not wearing a mask at all and railing against masks proves it's overblown hysteria - it would just be one more counterproductive fool.

I hope nobody makes decisions affecting the health of their own and others, based on what that man (of all people) does or doesn't do.

If I recall correctly didn’t the CDC recently come out with a figure that just over 9,000 have died so far due to Covid 19. If that’s true then yes I would say that’s it’s overblown hysteria. And we all know why this hysteria was created in the first place and I’m sure you know as well!

I do

- COVID-19 originated in 5G cell phone towers

- It has since been propagated by an arms of super bats, funded by the Gates foundation.

- The inevitable mass vaccination campaign, that will also be funded by Gates, will eradicate COVID-19 but will be the perfect opportunity to implant a microchip

- This will be used to create a global surveillance state that will control all future thoughts, purchasing power etc.

- I'm sure Obama is involved but I can't prove it ...

I don’t think the virus is ‘overblown’ but people are human. He was caught without a mask on. Omg. He wasn’t caught with cocaine or saying something racist. People need to chill.

Complete b.s. and you need to improve your reading comprehension. I saw the press release and CDC said that in all but 9000 cases, there were 2 or 3 "co-morbidities" which by themselves, would not have killed those individuals. They would have lived much longer. So absolutely, COVID did cause 100% of those deaths, not just 6%.

Your leader admitted today that he underplayed this. He understood on Feb 7 that this was at least 5x more deadly than the regular flu (it's on tape, not fake news). So who's overblowing this exactly?

I don't live in Boston but I don't think we have the same attention span as we did with Menino. I don't think anyone wants someone in office for 20+ years anymore.

Walsh said he wanted a 24/7 city. Now it's hardly a 12 hour city. I don't know if Wu could win but certainly should could bring things up. Walsh hasn't had that much of a real competitor in the past.
