I need to be at Beth Israel tomorrow morning by 6am. Coming from Medford. When I come in mid day I take 93 south to Leverett Connector to Storrow to Kenmore and I am there in about 20-25 minutes.

Can I expect it to take that amount of time if we leave Medford at about 5:15am? Does traffic on 93 south start that early especially these days?

Or I can take back roads through Somerville and Cambridge over the BU Bridge but 93 is the most direct. Or leave earlier in either case.

TIA.

That's real early. I think it'll be fine, barring construction. Maybe give yourself 30 minutes to be safe (including a little buffer for parking/walking to final destination). Just use Google Maps to find the best route when you are leaving.

You are not going to have problems if you need to get there by 6. The traffic doesn't really start until 6:30-7:00.

Agreed that is pretty darn early even for pre-COVID.

A couple of weeks ago I took 93N through Boston and the only delay was due to an accident, so account for that. It was quite eerie to drive by the airport and see only a couple of Ubers and a lone Silver Line bus in the tunnels.
