Where is the outrage ? Anyone care? I don't. I feel like it would be a different story if the guy were black though.

Instead of immediately and unnecessarily interjecting race as you seem to do 80% of the time, why not focus on the fact that he was a known violent criminal who had just robbed a convenience store at gunpoint and then after stealing a vehicle, pointed a rifle at the police.

For someone who supposedly doesn't care about race you sure seem to focus on it quite a lot.

Good riddance indeed, streets are safer with that violent criminal trash broomed out - a reaction one would expect from everyone when cops shoot a violent criminal who’s actively trying to kill them. Problem is, we’d have CNN front page hysteria and a fiery but mostly peaceful protest right about now had that criminal been black.

That's how it should be for every one of those incidents, unfortunately we live in a society where race often dictates the kind of coverage it receives and how the public reacts.

Unfortunately yes. Often the initial reaction isn't based on any factual information, and once the facts come to light the discussion devolves into a traffic violation the perp had in 1982 or the 5 internal affairs complaints a cop had in 20 years.

Preemptive "hE wAS WHitE!!1 WhEre'S ThE oUTraGe!!11" is just childish and pretty much on brand for people who "don't care about race" or whatever

Well no, there should be exactly zero outrage over this. What people who “don’t care about race” want to know is why cities go up in flames whenever exactly the same thing happens but the criminal happens to be black.

It's called being tone deaf to systemic practices where nonwhites are often presumed guilty, and treated as such, by the police.
