So, you know, it takes all kinds.
I was on a bus with a homeless guy and the smell was so bad I had to get off the bus . I was sitting in the back and he was in the very front and the whole bus smelled so horrid. It smelled like if you did not shower for 2 years.

The other people were not saying anything and stayed on the bus. It was a smell I never smelled before.

They usually smell like rotten milk.

I guess smoking a cigar while driving is better than smoking a blunt or having a drink

No joke, my high school bus driver used to smoke weed when driving us home from school.

I can’t imagine that’s allowed in the driver’s contract…

I actually haven’t seen anything too awful in Boston (though I’ve heard plenty of 1st hand accounts). There’s a homeless guy that I’ve run into several times (but not recently) on the Blue between Maverick and Gov’t Center who will light up a blunt or his crack pipe (or meth pipe, I can’t really tell) as soon as he sits down and will ride untold he’s kicked off the train. Seems to be known to staff.

At least he had the good sense to put his clothes back on when getting off the train.

In all seriousness though, stuff like this is getting out of hand in major American cities.
Most people barely tolerate being on a train/bus to get to point B, however these things make it even more challenging. I haven’t been on a train since March 2020 and have no plans to be back on it either. I’d rather drive in the comfort of my car and pay an arm and a leg for parking than deal with this nonsense.

I think they caught the guy on the news they said they caught a man who committed a lewd act on the train. what was he thinking? ya this is a good place to do this. I won't get caught or I don't care if I get in trouble the act is worth it. what is going on in these people's heads?

there are cameras everywhere because of cell phones and they can catch you even if you are wearing a mask. I have not taken public transit since 2018. the train system in Boston is the worst in terms of functioning and safety. a guy died getting his arm stuck on the train door when the train drove off. the green line is horrible.

This may not be entirely relevant but I saw this quite a bit when studying abroad in Central America, although it never involved public transport--just some guy walking around town (or, sometimes, in a doorway), with his dick out, masturbating in public. It was so common that it was a running joke among the exchange students (like, "I saw the strangest thing today..." "Oh, yeah, that...)
