So will you not be happy until every forest in MA is knocked down to accommodate anyone who wants to live here regardless of whether they can afford or not? ooh gotta make sure we get all those 40b developments in.

MA has over 1 million immigrants and one of the highest % of immigrants of any state in the US.
And yet, we have a lot of anti-immigrant sentiment, as this thread is revealing. Utterly ridiculous if one truly understood the history of the US.

Is that the plan or even an idea- to knock down forests to accommodate immigrant housing.
Do you have a link?

That's where you're wrong. People used to take pride in coming here and in being here. Today people are simply entitled and yes they move here for a better life but they want to do little to actually make that happen. They expect the US to do all the dirty work for them along with having it be easier for the kids to get into universities and get jobs based on not being from the US.

People dont care about the history of the US anymore. They are just here for the free healthcare, hope to get rich somehow and have no desire to really be a part of the US.

what kind of country will the US become if we continue to let in hundreds of thousands of people?

It's also the uneducated poor ones who have all the kids. This country is headed in a bad direction.

Feel free to keep trying to solve their problems though

Strongly, strongly disagree--most immigrants I know work harder than natives! They're not under any delusion of not having to work for a living here. And what is this "free healthcare" you speak of?

This is a pretty good overview of attempts at immigration reform in Congress since 2013. Congress does not seem to be able to get its act together on reform and seems too polarized to come up bills able to pass.

What kind of country will the US become if we don't?

Do you really not know any working class immigrants? Just lazy ones?

Do you really not know any lazy white people? Just hard working ones?
