The college I went to had rampant underage drinking but I never really partied there. Just depends on the kid.

I'd rather they get it out of their systems when they're young and stupid, and not when they're supposed to be older and responsible.

Just keep them from driving.

When I lived in Thailand years ago, the law was 18 to drink at home and 20 to drink at bars and clubs.

I thought that that was a fair compromise.
