My generous tipping really only extends to these folks. Take-out or dine in.

How about we hold off on replying here until the actual deposit comes? These "nothing yet" posts don't help anyone.

I filed a paper Massachusetts state income tax return and won’t put banking details on a paper return. Our small refund last April was a paper check. It’s basically me refusing to pay Intuit or H & R Block their pound of flesh for tax software. They can go die in a fire.

Interesting. I have no idea what I’m getting back, but I just checked and I haven’t gotten it. I file with TurboTax so I assume it would be DD, but with so many paper checks going out, I’m wondering if I’ll get it that way. If I remember correctly, TT plays middle man with deposits (I.e. IRS sends TT the money and TT deposits it to the customer rather than direct between IRS and the customer). So MA may just be sending Turbo Tax users checks if they don’t have the DD information. We’ve been away since Friday so there’s a chance it could already be there.

According to USPS Informed Delivery I have mail waiting for me from the Commonwealth of Massachusetts Department of Revenue, P.O Box 5983, Springfield, MA 01101-5983.

I'll see how much it is when I get home.
