Clearly he has not taken care of his mental illness and I'm guessing the heroin didn't help. We all go through rough times but showing up at a police station with a chainsaw and then dangling your kids out a window seems a bit more than just going through a rough patch during the holidays. I'm curious on why he showed up at the police station in the first place.
Based on the little details shared in news, I'll venture a guess and say maybe it involves a child custody battle and the drugs made the guy go extra looney tunes.
Apparently he called the police dept asking if they would babysit his kids. When they said no he went down there with the chainsaw. 'Quigley told Boston 25 that Buckley called the department earlier in the day and asked if officers would help babysit his children. When they declined, he returned hours later with a chainsaw, Quigley added.'
Maybe the cops will get in trouble now for refusing to babysit. Someone will say well geez if then had just said yes this wouldn't have happened.
Ok, not too far off. Maybe not a child custody battle per se...but apparently a dead beat druggie dad who doesn't want to take responsibility for his offspring. Crazy!
Found this from an old Patriot Ledger article.....Nov 3, 2008 — Brien J. Buckley, 21, of 37 Cushing Road, faces charges he was selling drugs out of his house. Cohasset police raided his home Sunday and ..
Also, looks like he got that $700-800K Cohasset house as inheritance when maybe his mom? passed a few years back according to public record. So, maybe he was a lil momma's boy who was/is always in trouble with the law but because his family never got him help or saw his issues it became a life of no, not my johnny couldn't be....he never does any wrong!
