I believe Mass. has the highest violent crime rate in the Northeast.

MD is higher, but that is not usually considered Northeast for these stat purposes. NY and PA have been lower than us, unless that changed very recently. If BBMM is around I'm sure he would fill us in on the latest.

Not considered by whom? MD is a northeast state. NY and PA are higher as of 2019 and 2020.
