What a place to put a homeless shelter: in the dorms of Eastern Nazarene College, right in the middle of a quiet neighborhood near Beechwood Knoll school.

Of course the articles are vague, referring to these people as "migrants". Is that code word for "illegal aliens"? Or are these people going to be legal?

If it's the former, how long before there's an open air drug market and hookers strolling down Wendell Ave?

Expect a lot of outrage from Wollaston residents about this.

Yikes, yes I imagine many in quincy will not be happy.

I just also don't understand why it never occurred to anyone to do this for people born and living here in bad circumstances? Crazy

Don't people understand it's already too crowded here? How about they try Montana or Wymoing instead of bussing all these migrants into the northeast corridor? I'm sure there's a lot more space available in those other states.

OH the excuse is that Boston has access to more things they need. Like anyone here cares. I agree, go somewhere else. Not the fault of the US that these other countries can't get a clue

Because Wyoming and Montana won't put up with it.

That area has gotten so transient now, I bet half of the neighbors won't GAF if they are even aware of it. I imagine the college is getting some cut from this? Gotta pay their bills too I guess...

Except both accepted migrants. Heck, Missoula has been taking them for years. Many Afghans.

I watched program where one guy from Haiti … living at that time in ER of one of hospitals was asked why they came to Boston, Massachusetts. He said that he heard schools were good!
