Hard to believe it's gotten that far. But then, there's his money.

He’s Got $250 Million to Spend on Communist Revolution
Fergie Chambers is heir to one of the biggest American family fortunes. He’s also a revolutionary with ‘actual bloodlust’ building a mysterious commune in Massachusetts. His neighbors are scared.

Fergie’s the General Secretary of the Berkshire Communists, which describes itself as a “revolutionary Marxist-Leninist collective, aiming to promote the formation of a powerful workers’ party.”

I see another Jim Jones Guyana and the events in Waco Texas on the horizon.
These two events did not end well for the inhabitants.

He sounds weird, and unpleasant. And while he hates capitalism, it's interesting that he seemed to accept the fruits of capitalism just fine, lots of fruits in fact. As far as whether he's someone who is dangerous, there are an awful lot of people though, who have extreme views and/or violent rhetoric. Just check out any gun forum or even City Data itself. Most of them don't actually *do* anything though. So to me he might be someone who bears keeping an eye on, but it's nothing to lose your s--- over.

Ironic isn't it.

Just did a little reading on him. Took his payout in 2015 and then disowned his family after they donated to build a police training center. His last FU to them was taking the money of course.

Chambers added that with his exit, he took the “opportunity to extract as much from the Cox capital as I possibly could before I die.”

Lol. That is my job now, actually. In my case, I never got to attract too many people with my genius soapbox speeches.

This guy’s story is somewhat similar to John Robbins, the heir to his father’s fortune from co-founding Baskin-Robbins Ice Cream. He totally did a 180, and denounced the sugar slash poison concoctions that the company dishes out. He’s no commie as far as I know, though.

Except he made his own money rather than hold a hand out to the family fortune while stabbing the family in the back.
