I think today is the first day of the BIG E in Western Massachusetts.

Has anyone gone yet?

What did you do/see/buy/like/love/hate?

I meant to go to BIG Y and get one of those unlimited passes (easier to go for a few hours several times than try to go for a whole day which is just too much for me) but I didn't get around to it. Realistically, I doubt I'll go more than 4 times so I am not going to bother with it.

I would like to go at least once or twice, I enjoy going through the state buildings, the Better Living Center, etc, and of course the kids like the rides.

I remember going all the time as a kid, and my uncle tells me of how he and his friends used to sneak in when they were kids (this would be 40 years ago).

I also remember trying to get to work in Agawam in Big E traffic .

But mostly I've got very fond memories about the Big E.

Anyone else?

did you hear about attendance so far this year? I was busy this weekend and did not catch the news. I am thinking that it might have been a very good opening weekend since the weather actually cooperated, which is kind of unusual.

Wow, I just happened to check the weather, and it looks like it is going to be a very nice week. I think I am going to try to get out there one day this week.
