Looking for a place to stay for a week. Cheaper the better. Im not fancy, Im not looking to stay at a Resort. Any ideas????

googled "maui hostels" and had a bunch of hits, you should be able to find a place that way.

There is also camping and couch surfing. I think the couch surfers have a website.

airbnb.com is the couch surfer site. Lots of Maui listings last I looked.

I just booked a condo for this July for $89.00 a night, Wailana Sands in Kihei Maui. Found it through VRBO. If you go in the summer it seems to be a lot cheaper. Hope this helps

Don't stay at the hostels in Wailuku. They're in the bad part of town with the prostitutes and druggies.
