Nope. I'm assuming you already know about the quarantine issues. I'm moving back and my poor mutts have to be cargo. They'll be fine, I've sent animals here before.
I have heard that sedating dogs can be fatal. Is this true? If so, it seems that flying is the only way to get them to Hawaii...is there something that will calm them down without putting them "out"?

I'm pretty sure that dogs being imported to Hawaii do have to go as cargo, that they cannot be carried in the cabin with the owners. This is because of the quarantine issue. I could be wrong on that, so check with the airlines.
yes they must go cargo unless you have your own private yacht to cross the Pacific in...unfortunately. i sure wish airlines were more dog-friendly and would allow us to buy seats in the cabin. my dogs would be sitting there probably more well behaved than some people! he he

Our three chihuahuas flew in the cabin with us on United. They were carry on luggage and were well behaved without sedation. It can work...I proved it. It just takes a lot of preparation and research.

Large Dogs? You're on your own and I don't advise it. Belle is right on that one. Cargo is your only option unless you take a cruise ship. It's gonna be tough unfortunately. Good luck.
