Knowing now what we didn't know then, does anyone think Biden will win re-election?

I don't. And not because of the laptop scandal but because he's been horrible. His thinking is skewed. What person in their right mind would think signing a Bill to reduce inflation will work when the same person almost immediately adds more debt to taxpayers by forgiving student loans? It's reported the amount will cost around $2,000 per tax return. That doesn't sound like much of a help to many who are already feeling the squeeze. smh

I don't think there's a chance in hell that Biden runs in 2024, personally.

That the FBI knew what they knew is probably why they didn't reference the laptop story specifically, right?
From their own statements, we know that they were trying to keep the laptop secret so as not to have an effect on the election. Which is fine. I get that.

But I think it is pretty obvious when they found out it was going to get out by other means, they decided they STILL were not going to let it effect the election, which is not fine.

And given the timing, I think it is willful ignorance to think otherwise.

I hope he gives up the notion but with that guy, you never know. He's a legend in his own mind ... but come to think of it, isn't that the belief of every politician out there?

Because he said he would. I don't hold out hope for a better choice, though. They all sell their soul to the devil and with the rest of us.

You clearly haven't been following the story.

I think that is simply an effort to keep the GOP focused on Joe, and not on who actually will run, for as long as the Dems can.

I've been wrong before, though.

...
I think you are on to something. Why, out of the blue, is the laptop back in the news? Dems want to force him not to run in 2024

I suggest your cynicism should prevent you from being involved in political discourse or voting for that matter.

Because Trump is getting thumped in the media right now and the right needs a diversion. And what better diversion than that ever-losing topic of Hunter Biden's laptop? Too bad you can't knock Trump off the front page--he's just got too many problems to hide any longer.

If Zuckerberg hadn't gone on Rogan's show and spilled the beans about the laptop story, we'd never know about it and possibly that FBI agent that suppressed it would still have his job. I don't hate all FBI because some are very helpful but that organization is just about as corrupt and the DOJ and the WH, imo. (Gee, look at all the abbreviations)
