After braces as a teenager, I ground through my night retainer. After a few years, I got a night guard, and that stopped my teeth from chipping and shifting at night. Recently, however, I’ve began to grind my teeth during the day when I have my multiple daily anger and panic attacks. How can I approach stopping these attacks? I also posted about this in Dental Health to see about stopping the damage from these attacks.
I know all about panic attacks, I used to get them, but being on Lorazepam helped that. I don't know anything about anger attacks. How does that manifest itself? I think Lorazepam would help with that too. I'm not a Doc, just a patient.

Good luck with the grinding!
Well, MY attacks often times are like Anger and Anxiety at the same time, so maybe I just register more of one or the other sometimes.
I suggest you seek help to stop having anger/panic attacks. If you are having them multiple times a day, you have lots bigger problems than your teeth.

We have a doctor shortage where I live, but I’m already on a waiting list! I’m just trying to get a general doctor right now, but I’ll be willing to drive 2 hours to see a mental health specialist if that’s what it takes.

If you walk into an ER and say you are a danger to yourself, you will see a doctor very soon. If you are that angry every day, I'm not sure it's not true.

What about finding out more about what causes it with your anger..
