I think they will continue to feel surreal. I find my biological age is not the same as my inner spirit. It gets confusing. As I get older--this past year I have found more people view me as an old person (I am 66)--how can that be when inside I feel around my mid to late 40's.

You are lucky at 40, because you still have so much to look forward to. You still have plenty of time for marriage and children, and in the mean time you are still free.

Many of us, at 40, were done looking forward. Our careers weren’t ever going to change, our partners weren’t ever going to change, and we were done with the adventure of having children. The only thing I had to look forward to at 40 was grandchildren.
