Hi....... I'm just wondering if anyone out there who lives in Baja can give me pointers. I'm planning on moving out to Rosarito in the next year. My plan is to work in San Diego and commute daily. I'm hoping to hear from people who do this type of commute who can help me get a feel for what it will be like.........
1) What is the commute across the border like in the mornings?
2) What is the best community to live in, that is not to far from the border?

My husband is being deported, and after fighting it for months and months we have decided the best thing to do is to just make the move and settle in Rosarito. It's close enough to the U.S. So that our friends and family can visit and I can work across the border. I appreciate the time that anyone can take to help me out.

Well I dont know about the commute from Rosarito but I live in Tijuana and cross the border everyday. The morning commute at the border can be quite overwhelming at first but then you get use to it. I mean traffic in Los Angeles isnt much better so you can kind of get an idea. I have never lived in Rosarito but I know for a fact that a lot of Americans live there. If you choose to live in TJ I also recommend the coastline or Playas de Tijuana. I think it is one of the safest zones in the city and one of the best. The border is not far from here is about 10-15 minutes and it is mostly highway.
