I spent three yrs in DF. If you were to look up my past posts on Mexico you would understand my background experience in Mexico. I will not repeat things here. Mordida hounded me driving s US plated vehicle. As a last resort I used the Mexican Govmt connection I had or the US Embassy for them to back off. Connections help. Petty stealing is allowed to exist with no punishment. I will not dwell here with all the things I know. Govmt connection was my Mexican Esposa.

Just few things I want to say it seems I'm never gonna be able to understand why there's so many Americans expats living in all over Mexico yet complaining about our country problems.

Pretty simple if you Americans don't like it pack your stuff and go back home.

Do not think any complaints are meant as the country itself other then the Cultural habits that are prevalent. The Mexican people have what I call ,"mentality" meaning their logic in thinking. They have this when crossing into the USA.Havel

They are Americans. That is what they do. What the complaining does do is improve services.

The only 'bad' weather months are from Late April thru early June. Hot and dry! We are here now (bad timing) moving into our new home. We lived in Ajijic previously 2008-2012.

Well known weather sites will 'say' they are reporting Ajijic, but in reality they are showing GDL temperatures. GDL is hotter in summer, colder in winter.

Do some research at this site to see historic highs/lows. Summers are glorious here once the rains start (first or second week of June)....rarely hits above 80. Rains almost every night...but late late....2AM often.
