Default Locations

This is for Ace547. I got a screen capture of the location so that hopefully someone will be able to ID it, even if they haven't seen the video. It looks like somewhere in South Beach to me, but I can't be sure. I'm only going by the architecture and the shape of the area surrounding the windows on the right hand side of the picture... Looks very South Beach to me..

That location doesn't impress me half as much as this location:

This looks like the beach on the Rickenbacker Causeway, but I don't think it is because they don't let you park on the sand anymore.

The area by the Rickenbacker Causeway was the only place that I knew of where you could park directly on the sand. However since I've been back I was disappointed - no wait - disgusted by the fact that people can no longer park their cars in the sand under a coconut palm anymore. Some uptight yuppie must have decided that that wasn't "orderly" enough so now it's only the marked parking spots with their ridiculous traffic jams. Stupid bureaucrats!!! Anyway this spot is impressive, but the rockpile jetty throws me off as to where the location is. Anybody know?

The only other thing I have to say about that picture is -- My God!! The clouds!! That's one thing I really miss about South Florida -- their amazing skies!

The top photo showing the windows is from a closed street in the Design district.

I'm thinking a film permit if done right would allow for this. Google online shows that area under construction, so I can't find a feature that matches the coral rock jetty. That being said, presuming it's a night shot, the east side of the Rickenbacker is the only logical place for that shot.

Design district looks empty, forgotten, and dull
