North River road near the Scottish Rite Temple is probably the most popular movie shoot location. They used Sewell Park on the Miami River for Burn Notice. Ransom Everglades Upper School was used in the movie "Wild Things" with Neve Campbell and Denise Richards. Marc McCauley, a local Miami actor played a bit part in that as an alligator wrestler. He also plays one of the two FBI guys in Burn Notice. They used the ACTUAL Miami police station in Miami Vice (Note the interior with the lime green doors).

Thanks for posting that. Another one not on the site is True Lies. License To Kill was a very underrated Bond movie too. Dalton wasn't as bad as most people think he was. I will have to check out those locations as I have seen that movie so many times.

Another area that is a popular film shoot area is underneath the MacArthur causeway bridge. That location was used in Miami Vice, the original and the 2006 one with Colin Farrell and Jamie Foxx

Cool. I looked at the Vice section. Very meticulous, although I know some things he doesn't. Gonna check out the real old stuff now (Sinatra et al).
