I don't refer to Cubans as "Cubans", I think of them as Koreans.

LOL! I can relate. When I'm at school (BCC) I used to always be in a crudy mood with the immature kids, and the plain morons speeding through the parking lot and behaving like the cast of Idiocy.

Then one day I started telling myself "Just pretend, act, and feel as if you were at school in Boston" and now everything has changed. I cruise through the day, usually in a jovial mood and I notice the smarter students studying in the library along side of me instead of the trash roaming around the campus talking way to loudly and behaving like straight up monkeys.

Good to know I'm not alone in this self therapy routine. You know, what we are doing goes deeper than just a "make believe", however, we just can't see it to explain the real roots of our actions... only psychologist can see through us.

You guys need psychiatric help.

Psychologists break a person down in order to build them up. During the process, we'll see each other crying and ranting during hard, embarrassing, harsh, and awkward moments.

But I actually LIKE living in Miami. I live near the beach and spend most of my time outside of class in Miami Beach and Aventura.

I truely could never be happy living in any other part of South Florida. Yes, its more transient in these parts, but theres a lot of laid back young folks from all over the country so that kind of makes up for it.

I definatly won't stay here forever, but for now, I like this area a lot.
Its just my college that I secretly hate.

I live with my mother, but even when I was renting, I paid the extra money to live out here. An extra couple hundred a month in rent is worth it to preserve my happiness and sanity.

Not at all. The military breaks you down emotionally to get rid of any weak sentimental spot you might have (make you "stronger") - nothing productive, as compared to psychology, where you are told the real motives of your self being. The ladder usually breaks you down cuz it is harder for you to admit who you really are and why you do the things you do, all of this of course, are products of our unconscious...the reason why we don't know ourselves. Once your reality is brought to light and you have admitted your true self, then you'll see the need to work on the real YOU. This as a result, builds up your persona.

At least you get to live by Aventura. I live in Doral with my parents cause I would rather save money for renting a good place in Tally for when I move there in a year and a half. Where you planning on transferring to lol?

BTW I don't think I find my near schizophrenic imagination to be a problem k?
