You want boring ? Move to a small rural town of 15,000 people, with just wal-mart and the basics.

Live there for a few years and then tell me living in Miami is boring.

Even living in a small town you are bound to find something to do.

So in conclusion to the original post : There are no boring places, just boring people.

However I'll say this much : The city isn't for everybody, most especially if you don't have money!

Miami nor the metro Miami can be called boring. If anyone ever does, you're the problem or you don't know what the area has to offer. From Lion Safari up in Palm Beach to Boomers in Broward to Arsht Center in Miami and Everglades in Dade.

Miami is not boring, the rest of the state is very boring. You can walk, calle ocho, SB, miracle mile, grove, visit tons of bars and restaurants not existing hundreds of miles around, scream things at people when you drive (I miss that)..comemi..etc, laugh at the ridiculous bumper stickers, visit botanicas, fish markets, etc. Catch jaibas under the bridge, is it possible now?

Exactly the type of common behavior that turned the city into a place you would still visit but never want to live in.
