I mean I have no problem with Hispanic etc. It is just I know I heard they are rude there and maybe they won't like me? lol I lived in Ft Lauderdale for 3 years and it was fine. But I Know it is way different. thanks alot for your help.

Kendall is a nice, suburban area of Miami that is probably 50% Hispanic (most of which are white), 40% non-Hispanic white with the other 10% being either black or Asian. You will not stick out at all and not knowing Spanish is no issue in Kendall; virtually everyone in stores and restaurants speaks English. Where will your job be? If it's in east or central Kendall I would highly recommend living in one of those sections... traffic in west Kendall is horrendous and much of West Kendall isn't as nice (but still safe) as the eastern sections.

You should be fine as long as your job is not customer service or sales or anythign that involves talking with customers a lot since you don't speak Spanish. Kendall grew big during the 80's and most of the immigrants learned English. Everyone says traffic is terrible in Kendall but those people must all be on Kendall Drive. It is the major E-W road. Avoid it like the plague. Use 104th or 72nd instead. It is amazing hom much faster traffic moves on those roads. I used to live by US1 and worked out by Tamimami airport in Kendall and my commute was 20-25 minutes.

You will be fine, Kendall is predominantly Hispanic, but educated, middle class Hispanic. Many of these Hispanics are also White. The apartment complexes are generally where the trashier people live, especially in West Kendall.

If you have a job offer in Kendall, by all means live there. The traffic is not as bad going around IN Kendall as much as trying to get in or out. Take my advice, Kendall is divided by the Palmetto expressway, the Turnpike and FPL right of ways. Try to live in the same division as your business and you will be fine. The best areas to buy a home (if you recieve adequate pay) are between 72ave, Miller, Kendall, and the palmetto. Also prime is between the palmetto and the 836, north of Miller Road, all excellent homes. Decent neighborhoods are kendall Lakes, Calusa (if you like 80's California style) and the Adler-built homes between Sunset and kendall, 107AVE to the 836. The Janus homes from 107AVE east to the FPL lines, kendall to the 836 are also safe and nice. Pretty much everything built since the 80's is ugly and packed. West of the Turnpike you will see Kendall become uglier and uglier till you reach rural Krome avenue. There is really nothing I like west of 127 AVE.

Yes I was serious lol I get told mixed things. I am not sure all about dade. But I do have a couple of friends that live there. I perfer not to buy right away cause I just don't know if it is for me and the way the market is. I know it will be a while before I could get out. I am more of a condo anyway. I have found some nice condos for about 200,000. But who knows right now. I am single and no wife or anything. thanks for the post guys

In the Kendal Lakes Mall. yes, they are good. Back in 1980-83 I took music lessons at a music store in that mall. It was totally different then. There was a movie theater there too. Back then 137th ave was one lane each way.

Also All-Star Pizza on 137th ave and 112? st has very good pizza (take out/ delivery).
