I am working from home and would like to get out more and be around others. I occasionally go to a Starbucks in coral gables. Are they any other coffee houses that have big comfortable chairs and a cool scene? In the gables, grove or miami beach? I have heard of panther but don't know if they have comfortable seating.

Check vapor places. I've seen lot of new places. Lot of comfortable plump cushions, where ppl hangout.

Check out WeWork and get yourself a 'remote office', soooo much better than Starbucks/Panther every week. For $210-$300/mo, you get all utilities included, some printing, free coffee/beer, package receiving, real address, and be around lots of entrepreneurs with a super cool vibe & ability to network with tons of people (Lincoln Road is more laid back where as CityCentre is more professional). Also, each floor has great couches, sitting areas, booths, and even conference rooms with cool chairs/tables that aren't used much. I have a small office in the low $500s but people bring their laptops and just plug in to open desks for the low $200s and no lease.
Plus, you can work from any WeWork in the world so many times per month. I'm in Miami Beach but they are opening one Downtown and soon in the Gables and have a gorgeous one inside CityCentre with a great outdoor terrace with couches and weekly events (happy hours, free food parties, etc.)

I'll be in D.C. next week on vacation and I can work a few hours (for free) at one of the 5 D.C locations if I get a Real Estate deal that needs my immediate attention.

I like the Pasion del Cielo chain around Miami as well. Better coffee than starbucks.

I find it far from professional.
