I read that the new higher speed train, Brightline, now part of Virgin TrAins, has carried a million passengers. Anyone tried it? How was it?

I took the Brightline in early July 2019 from Fort Lauderdale to Miami. Very nice train. Trip only takes about 35 minutes.

Just got this eMail from Brightline . . . . With a couple of short Videos, not in here.

We’ve missed you… a lot. But it’s officially official: Brightline service will resume this November, and we can’t wait to welcome you back aboard. We’re busy getting our trains squeaky clean and our stations in tip-top shape —

Regular service between Miami, Fort Lauderdale, and West Palm Beach starts again in November. We know it’s hard to wait, so we put together a playlist to help you get some bright feels flowing until then.

It's expensive compared to public transportation.

No longer affiliated with Virgin. Lawsuits filed, Fortress Investments (lead stakeholder in Brightline) says Virgin didn't perform on advertising, naming and funding commitments.

Thankfully. When I read they were going to change the name to "Virgin", that alone made me hate any of the deal, even though it had no impact on me, lol.

"Brightline" is a great name for it.
