WOO HOO, Miami makes a Top 10 List again! It is the 9th worse miserable city!! Way to go Magic City

In Pictures: America's 10 Most Miserable Cities - Forbes.com

"Miami has been crushed by the housing collapse. Moody's Economy.com estimates that 26% of mortgages in Miami are delinquent or are likely to be written off as bad debt that can not be collected. Violent crime and corruption are also off the charts."

Spot on Forbes! So much for the paradise that Miami claims to be. Now Miami is in a list of America's "miserable elite", including Flint, MI, Detroit, MI, Stockton, CA and Cleveland, OH.

I'm not surprised by this at all. Unaffordable housing, corrupt local gov't, little mass transit, few parks, people with bad attitudes and killer drivers.

wait, but Miami has South Beach and beautifully architectured sky scrappers downtown, this can not be true.

Well you can think the GOP controlled Florida Legislature for a lot of the housing mess. They just took back $190 million from the state housing finance agency to pay for the deficit they created with last session's tax cuts.

Worst
Legislature
Ever

I am glad the state legislature is who to blame. I did not know they had control of a GLOBAL financial crisis. Alert the Media!

Only number 9?

The language barriers, the horrible customer service, the terrible drivers and road rage incidents... why only 9th?

I don't know why anyone would want to move to Miami unless they were coming from a dirt-poor third world country. Oh wait! That IS where they are all coming from.

"Violent crime and corruption are also off the charts."

I believe it. I know some people on here will ignore that, but after you hear something over and over, dont you think there may be some truth to it?
