But the big difference between SC and MIA is that SC will have those 100s for 7-10 days at most out of the year. And 3 months of 80s and 90s, and the rest of the year its really nice. Miami can be in the high 80s in December or January and 80s and 90s for 8-10 months out of the year.

Exactly. Although Columbia SC gets hot, and I have been there in the summer, I can tell you as a FL native that it doesnt get as hot and humid there as it does here, and it doesnt stay hot for NEARLY as long up there.

Listen, it's so predictable. Around 93 degreese for three or four months straight. Every day. With a heat index of 90 to 100 degrees depending on the humidity. And usually a short thunderstorm. That's the best part, the rain is usually from 10 minutes to a half hour long and then it goes away. I personally find June-Sept to be beastly hot. But the good news is you always know what to wear And the rest of the year is heavenly for weather. Well, maybe October can be hot as well, but definitely more tolerable than June-Sept.

The humidity kills every thing? Umm..... Maybe it's a buzzkill for those who are not predisposed to like humidity, but the plants, trees and grass seem to love it!

I wish the humidity would kill off those mosquitos, no-see-ums or anything else that bites

I'll take Florida mosquitos over San Diego fleas any day! At least mosquito bites heal quickly!
