Every night I'm being woken up by reggaeton music or I can hear it blaring through my windows, is this a common occurrence in Miami too? It doesn't annoy me that much, except when I'm trying to sleep, but sometimes it helps me sleep

No Reggaeton, but a neighbors kid has modified his muffler on his car, so it is so loud now..many of the neighbors want to complain to the parents, but I don't think they actually have yet.

Reggaeton, Salsa, Merengue, Hip-hop, you name it. If it is annoying loud music, you will hear all day and all night long in the streets of Miami, blasting from the cars and your neighbors. Where is the magic in the "Magic City"?

I am not in miami but Pembroke pines a suburb of Ft lauderdale. Every night I am woken up by some car with ratteling base going by that rattles my window. On many occasions I have been woken up by some very loud regee or latin music and I can not sleep. I HATE that!

put in some ear plugs until they go away. the rubber ones that go into the ear are effective.

Better yet, call the cops. If these are your neighbors, send them to court. You won't win the case (in Miami the criminal is always right), but at least you will make your point clear with your annoing neighbors.

Cars have huge annoying 5 thousand watt systems ANYWHERE!!!!!!! As far as blasting reggaeton, yes, we had a group not so well behaved miami-type Latinos move in to our neighborhood ( a group of 10 fitting into a 2 bedroom condo!!), who would blast that horrible **** they call music every night. Fortunately, our HOA evicted them because they werent paying thier dues and occupying the place way over capacity . One of the few times a HOA becomes good!

Oh and i am in broward.

Down the block we have these UM college kids and they party like 2-3 times a week. lucky for me I can't hear their music as we are further away. But the neighbors down the way, call the cops on them every time they say. Once the cops showed up and the partiers didn't leave, and the cops brought in the helicopter for some reason and they all ran like ants the neighbors said. So see if you call cops they will come.
