Gull Lake is about the best place around the area, The whole area is supported by big money drug MFG .
It's quite rural, but with a little subtle charm, including Hickory Corners area. Gull lake is considered the best lake in south Michigan. That could have been my choice a few years ago, but picked rural South Haven instead, which was a mistake.

I would not go anywhere the Kalamazoo River., or any of the Created dam built lakes, bays and tributaries. Many do not know how bad things are with this monumental spill. They are just touching the surface on this very tough task. Not your average spill.
