Hey everyone.

I've visited Southfield a few times and I really like it there. I also have a few friends that already moved there.

I'm almost done with my bachelors in Business Administration. Due to religious reasons, I can't work with a bank or a mortgage company.

Any entry level jobs available? I wouldn't mind driving to Detroit for work either.

If I could find decent employment, I might just make the jump from Brooklyn, NY to Southfield, MI.

I've tried Indeed and other job search sites. I'm looking for real, authentic leads on jobs.

What type of job are you looking for? It's easier if your major was in accounting or finance - but sometimes it's hard to know what you want to do. Are you looking for sales? Entry management (e.g. AVIS car rental, hotel chains etc)?

What is preventing you from a bank or mortgage? There are both Muslim and Jewish banking/finance jobs here if charging interest is what's scaring you from the religious perspective. www.arabamericannews.com is one of the largest Arabic websites (and HQ in Dearborn, MI - not far from Southfield) so might be a good place to look for something if you wanted it to jive with religion.

But you're looking in the right places (i.e. Indeed, simplyhired etc). Trying searching for "in quotes" "entry level" and southfield - then aren't wasting time on all the jobs that want 2-3 years experience. Many of the insurance companies in the Lansing area offer employment for training programs to college graduates. Check out Auto Owners, Jackson National Life, Michigan Millers, Accident Fund
