It's a decent area. The general area is pretty noisy, in my opinion. But the neighborhoods are pretty stable. The further away from M-59 you are, the quieter it gets, save for the air traffic flying in and out of the airport which can get pretty noisy at times.

I'm a couple of blocks down closer to the lake so luckily it didn't seem to be too loud there, overall the neighborhood looks safe, just worried about pontiac down the street. a lot of people say that is a good part of pontiac though, can anyone confirm? Thanks for the reply as well.

Well, the part of Pontiac you're close to isn't a bad section at all really. Overall the area is pretty good. I'm guessing you're in the part where you'd go down Voorheis from M-59 and you'd turn right in to the neighborhood before James K? That's a nice area and James K is one of Pontiac's better streets. There isn't a lot of crime in that area that I'm aware of so you should be fine.

Yeah that's exactly where it would be, after driving through there a couple of times I realized the area is pretty nice and looks pretty safe. I think I'm gonna go for the house. thanks for all the replies.
