Has there been any news about the feasibility study of rail service between Coast to Coast (from Detroit to Lansing to Grand Rapids and ending at Holland)?
There are over a dozen college campuses within walking distance from proposed stations.

I think it would be fantastic idea. Then again, I'm a frequent rider between Chicago & the various MI cities.
I think a spur should eventually be added connecting Detroit or Dearborn down to Toledo. This could link all of MI to the East Coast via the Lake Shore Limited & Capitol Limited assuming the connector line gets built some day.
