Hello all,

A friend of mine will be in town during the weekend of the 23rd of June and I noticed that their is a wine festival in Bridgman. I wondered if anyone had attended last year and enjoyed it. I would be good to know if it is worth the 3 hour drive up there for the afternoon.

Thanks!!

Bridgman is a great little town, and I do mean little. I have lived all over, Saint Louis missouri, Chicago, Detroit, and also, Bridgman. You will have a good time I think. There isn't a lot of bars or things of that nature, but the wine is quite good since it is all made from the grapes grown right there. There is also a nice beach ( weco beach) that is a great place to swim, lay out, relax. Very gorgeous area on the beach, place to camp out if you like, Warren Dunes just down the road.
I guess you asked just about the wine tasting. You'll have a good time.

I lived in Bridgman for 2 years...I only moved because I was pink slipped to save money. I personally love Bridgman. There is a road called Snow Road that is fun to drive down out towards Berrien Springs where you can see grape wine fields and nice countryside. Weko beach is gorgeous and the beach house should be open. I never attended the wine festival (don't drink), but have heard that it was decent.

The wine festival is great. We were there last year and brought 8 other people with us. Everyone had a great time. Not only was there wine but also food and live music. It is a well run festival, very organized. But only one day, Saturday.
