I am a 75 year old invalid. Today my wife took me to the base hospital for some lab tests. When I arrived there was a soldier in his PT Uniform laying on the floor. He had become ill during PT and was brought there for medical care. There was none, they had to call 9-11 to have him taken to a civilian hospital.
I waited in line, got my labs done and was leaving. He was unconscious on the floor. WTF. Ihope he didn't die waiting for treatment at an Army Hospital on an Army base.

Last time they evacuated me by helicopter it took an hour to fly to Tucson. My wife got there faster driving, she was waiting when we got there.

If they'd called 911 he would have been taken to the right place. That's procedure by every training ever given in the military.

Apparently the NCOs have forgotten what an NCO is supposed to do? I may be old and retired but if my CSM saw one of my soldiers like that it would have been my ass - back in the day .
