I was stationed at Bunker Hill Air Force Base in 1964 (Strategic Air Command, deadly to the crew B-58 bombers) when the very dark comedy “Dr. Strangelove or: How I Learned to Stop Worrying and Love the Bomb” was shown at our base movie theater. It was so popular, it was held over several times.

Funniest I can think of for my branch was No Time for Sergeants. There were several in the 80s/90s that were unintentionally funny because they were so wrong, but they were attempts at serious movies. Wargames and Stargate. We kept getting asked where the WOPR and the Stargate were kept.
Do we have any other choice for the Air Force enlisted comedy except "No Time for Sergeants?"

Dr. Strangelove was more for pilots.
