Veterans ID on Driver’s License or ID Card by State by militarybenefits.info . Currently there more than 35 states plus Puerto Rico that provide the veterans designation and most of the remaining states have passed legislation and are in the process of implementing. Unemployment Compensation for Ex-servicemembers- added 21 Jan 2014
The Unemployment Compensation for Ex-servicemembers (UCX) program provides benefits for eligible ex-military personnel.
The program is administered by the States as agents of the Federal government.
The law of the State (under which the claim is filed) determines benefit amounts, number of weeks benefits can be paid, and other eligibility conditions.
You should contact your State Workforce Agency as soon as possible after discharge. It may be helpful to have a copy of your service and discharge documents (DD-214 or similar form) when you open your claim. In many states, you may now file your claim by telephone and/or internet.
Where can I find information about recreation areas available to military personnel?
Recreation.gov lists public recreation areas, but the database does not include sites that are available only to military personnel. Instead, we have provided links to the Morale, Welfare, and Recreation (MWR) sites. I don't want to waste a recruiter's time if i am too old but i have questions. Myself and a nephew of mine want to join, my nephew has questions regarding minimum education level.
