Whelp... It looks like The Rolling Stones are coming... But I wouldn't get too excited over it.

There is no Chicago date on their tour... Which means the Marcus will be flooded with FIBs...

Lawn "seats" are $500 and close to the stage is around $3000... The average ticket is around $1000... So no average fan can attend the concert. The Marcus holds 25,000 people... So just on ticket sales alone, the Milwaukee date will bring in $25 million. Insane.

The constant stream of sh~tkicker music just goes to show that Summerfest is less about celebrating Milwaukee music and more about drawing money from the I-43 corridor.

I really thought they'd finally turned the corner last year. Now we're back to the same old Summerfest I'd stopped caring about before last year.

The average person has $25,000 in credit card debt...I think they room for another $1,000. Anyways even if you don't have credit card debt this is the perfect excuse to use one for a once in a lifetime concert.

Once in a lifetime?

They just had a full North American Tour in 2013... And in 06-07 they had over 70 dates in North America.

I don't get why anyone would be excited to see the Rolling Stones in 2015. They played the Super Bowl Halftime show about five years ago and were terrible. They were a great band in their day, but it's starting to get a bit sad seeing them still trying to play live concerts.

And, maybe some people were twelve in 06-07, and perhaps didn't have the opportunity to travel to see them in 2013. This is a nice opportunity for some.

Because people that age typically have $1000 lying around to spend on one concert?

The concert is going to be almost exclusively the 50+ crowd, which is fine.

I see ticket prices from $95 to $421.95...where is this $1000 you're coming up with? They don't have to pay for their ticket and their friend's ticket.
