Hello everyone,

I can't believe that Sears is gone.

Does anyone know what could or would replace it?

Thank you.

My hunch is that Bayshore will tear down the entire north corridor from food court thru the now old Sears and redo from scratch. I heard rumors of a Target.

A Target would be nice. I'd really like an IKEA or a Home Goods.

Bayshore would be wise to look for a high-end anchor like it should have had from the get-go...Nordstrom, Neiman Marcus, Bloomingdale's, Sak's Fifth Avenue...I know that Boston Store made that difficult for them, but that area is too nice not to have those anchors, in my opinion.

Sears store closure a big opportunity for Bayshore

I agree, but I don't know why Boston Store would have a problem with any of those four stores going in. All four are higher end than Boston Store and probably wouldn't take away their customer base.

IKEA doesn't do malls, or at least I haven't seen one in a mall. There's not really any room around Bayshore for a lot of outer development. Home Goods might be too small to fill all that space.

I agree, even if it isn't the actual full service department store. I like this addition.
