Thanks again!

What about hotels by the airport? We don;t mind having to drive into the city, and we wont be using public transportation. Found some real cheap rooms at the Wyndham and Best Western..

The problem with the airport is that it isn't by very much. You won't have the big city things like downtown, and you won't have the lake front. However, I'm sure it's cheaper. I know hotels by airports are usually much cheaper than downtown hotels.

I wouldn't even bother going by the airport, it's too far away from anything & it's a pain to have to drive in all the time, stick w/downtown.

I'd pick the Ramada over the airport hotels, if that answers your question. Techically what you mentioned are fine, but I'd stay downtown or even Brookfield before there. There's a Residence on the North side of town in Glendale on Pt Washington Rd which is solid and a Courtyard on Brown Deer Road which is also solid. I don't think rates will be cheaper than Brookfield and imo the hotels in Brookfield are better than Glendale and Brown Deer for quality.

If you can do it or are willing to do it, downtown is where you should go, unless you have a car and don't mind driving around and parking.
