Come and see for yourself. Don't go in the early morning, nobody's around, go in the late afternoon to get the real flavor of the neighborhoods. All the properties have probably been captured in their best light by the realtors, meaning, not showing the neighborhood or the crime figures.

You did say you were a single white guy and safety was important to you, right? The places you're looking at, are cheap for a reason. And contrary to "lioninaconcretejungle" saying it's "integrated and safe", it's NOT integrated, and it's NOT safe. I don't fear the neighborhood during the day, but I wouldn't go there at night for any reason. I wouldn't even drive through there, not because I'm afraid of the act of driving through, I'm more concerned about getting a flat tire or something. Or getting smashed into.

Also one of my employees lived just north of Capitol Dr. between 15th and 20th IIRC. He came in to work with a bullet hole in his truck. No idea how it got there, just parked on the street at his house. There are other areas of the city that you can live in, where you don't get bullet holes in your car. Or yourself.
Haha well hmmm, I might just be screwed then.

Sorry if any of these are close to each other or to the previous ones I listed, I am not familiar with Milwaukee as you have probably guessed.

If you guys could narrow down the list for me I would appreciate it!
I'm gonna go ahead and suggest that you check out the Palmer and 49th Street addresses.
