I would appreciate it if anyone could suggest some affordable Christian schools in Minneapolis or the surrounding area. I'm looking to relocate next year and have been searching extensively to find a good Christian school for my K, 1st and 3rd grader and many of them have been over our budget. Currently, I'm paying about $470/mo per child and would like to stay around that amount. Thank you in advance.

King of Grace should be in your price range, it's a Lutheran school. A couple of local families I know send their kids there and they've been happy.

The tuition at Calvin Christian School is on a sliding scale based on your income. They have two locations, one in Blaine and one in Edina. I understand that Heritage (NW suburbs) is also affordable and there is tuition assistance available at Minnehaha Academy in south Minneapolis. I hope that is helpful.

Most Christian schools are less much less expensive if you are a member of the sponsoring congregation. My children are at King of Grace...even though it's a bit of a drive for us. We looked into many, many schools so I'd be happy to answer any questions. We didn't look into any Catholic elementary schools, but I am familiar with them a bit.

Default Affordable Christian Schools

Agree, King of Grace Lutheran is a great school. Our children have attended there since preschool and we love it. King of Grace Lutheran School » Home to see more about them.
